Confession time:
My name is T-Bone. I'm a food addict.
I try to eat well.
I try.
Some days I do well.
Some days I'm the fat kid who is stuffing the entire box of Oreos into my mouth underneath the covers before my mom notices they're gone (nooo... I never did that as a kid..............we had generic Oreos).
This week was BAD. I ate all the things I swore off when I began to eat organically. And I ate meat. I had a hamburger (well, half because it oooged me out while I was eating it), pizza, chips and queso, Taco Bell... the list goes on. I ate like CRAP! And you know what? I feel like CRAP because of it.
I've got to get back on track. I feel sluggish, slow, bloated, and sick to my stomach. BOO! :(
I did a 5 mile run today (should have been 10). It was hot. I was not feeling right from a week of eating like crap. It was incredibly tough. I gave up halfway. I took an ice bath. I skipped lunch. I'm resting now. This half marathon is going to be tough. I've run 6 marathons (including my Ironman), but this half just might kill me. Oh well...
Back on the wagon. Fresh fruits and veggies; mama's comin' back!
Lunch:
organic egg, slice of cheese and half an avacado
Dinner:
sushi, watermelon and raspberries. and a spoonful of Nutella.
OMG- eating good food tastes SO amazing!!!

Good luck! It's not easy and some days you slip and eat stuff you should not. Best of luck on the Half!!
Thanks, Kin! It's been a lifelong battle with my weight/eating, and I will battle it until my time on Earth is done.
I don't get mad at myself for slipping up, and sometimes it actually feels good. I just went a teensy bit overboard this week.
Back on track now!
Best of luck to you on your full. I'm crossing fingers it will be a great weather day for everyone!
Bummer... and boy do I know what you're talking about... I've been eating healthy since the beginning of the year... no fast food... eating out to a minimum .... fresh, whole foods... and when I have crap I get so irritated because 1) it doesn't taste as good as I thought it would and 2) it's never worth it afterwards cuz I feel like crap... ugh... now... it's a horse of a different color if it's really goooooood food... then it's worth the rare deviation! LOL
I ate a 6-pack of Oreos at work today. My bad. It happens.
A six pack? That's not too bad. A whole package of double stuffs- now THAT'S bad. ;)
S'okay, friend. ;)
The vending machine didn't deal me the first package so I had to double-down. That means I have another six pack waiting for me in my office.
Score! You did very well. You could have eaten BOTH packages, but you only ate one. Self-control!!
Oh wait! I forgot. I shared with a co-worker. That is the best way to reduce calories.
hey- you did better than you thought. Thanks, coworkers!!
The second 6-pack made it to about 10am this morning... I rode my bike 25 miles after work.
At least they lasted that long???
They wouldn't have lasted until breakfast if they were in my possession.
25 miles surely got rid of them.
